What to Expect

We recommend that you arrive no later than 20 minutes prior to the time the performance is scheduled to begin. For those purchasing Reserved Seating tickets, your seat will be held until 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the show, after which Knox reserves the right to fill empty reserved seating. For general admission seating, seats are not assigned within the general seating areas and are a first come-first serve basis. Admission times into the concert hall vary based on the requirements of different performers. There are two entry doors, the main entry door and a side entry. We strongly recommend you enter the main entrance, as there is an interior lobby in which you can wait. The side door should be used only by handicapped individuals or elderly patrons who find it difficult to climb the main entrance steps. There is not an indoor waiting area at the side door and patrons entering that door may be required to wait outside no matter the weather conditions until the performer's practice time has ended on stage.

Knox patrons dress in attire ranging in diversity but including business casual and business dress (coat and tie).

Knox events are held in the Anniston Performing Arts Center, which includes an auditorium shared with the Anniston High School campus located on Anniston's historic Woodstock Avenue. View the map at the bottom of this page. (Note you can enter your 'starting location' to map directions directly to the venue by clicking on the red ballon on the map and then clicking 'Directions'.)

There is reserved parking as noted by signage and barriers for patrons who have purchased reserved parking. General parking includes parts of the Anniston Performing Arts/ Anniston High School parking lots, as well as additional parking on Woodstock Avenue in front of the venue.

Knox hires off duty Anniston police officers to provide security services.
